Career Pathfinder helps individuals at the start of their career journey gain the confidence, clarity, and skills to take the next step into occupational training. In this supportive, 40-hour course, participants explore career options, strengthen essential readiness skills, and overcome common barriers to feel prepared for what’s next.
Program Details
- Career Pathfinder prepares you for next-step occupational training programs with JVS or other providers
- This online program runs February 3 through February 26
- Online class is Tuesday through Thursday 9am-12pm
- Career Pathfinder graduates receive priority consideration when applying to JVS training programs — giving you a real advantage when it’s time to take your next step. Note: Placement in a program is not guaranteed.
Eligibility
- This program is designed for individuals who are early in their career journey or entering the workforce for the first time
- Should have a valid authorization to work in the United States, such as U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an employment authorization card
- Must be available and present for the entire duration of the program
- Must demonstrate interest in pursuing occupational training

Am I guaranteed to get into a training program if I complete the course?
No. Completing Career Pathfinder does not guarantee acceptance into a JVS or other training program. However, participants who complete the course and meet the readiness criteria receive priority consideration when applying to a JVS occupation training program.
What happens after I finish?
You’ll continue working with your career coach to apply for the training program that fits your goals.
The tuition and fees of this program is $3,200 per person, but is no charge for participants thanks to our generous supporters. We invest heavily in our training programs to help you advance your career without financial barriers.
