Luba is the Senior Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing at JVS, where she leads brand strategy, storytelling, and thought leadership to advance the organization’s mission of expanding economic opportunity through innovative workforce programs.

Since joining JVS in 2022, she has led a comprehensive organizational rebrand and spearheaded high-impact campaigns, media partnerships, and content initiatives that showcase the success of jobseekers and strengthen support for workforce development across California.

Previously, Luba led communications for eight years at Community Vision Capital & Consulting, a California-based CDFI dedicated to helping local nonprofits and small businesses secure ownership of vital community assets. She is passionate about elevating diverse voices and positioning organizations at the forefront of conversations about economic opportunity and social change, with expertise spanning branding, media strategy, and asset-based storytelling.

Luba holds an MPA with a specialization in International Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon.
