Ksenia came to the U.S. looking to build a new life as a tech startup co-founder, but when her startup failed, she had to pivot to a job in sales in the staffing industry. When that position was eliminated by AI two years later, she looked for opportunities in nursing that would provide more stability and long-term opportunities. Ksenia found JVS’s Medical Assistant Certificate program and decided to take a chance on getting into healthcare and building her resume at UCSF. Now as a nursing student at Samuel Merritt University, Ksenia is on her way to building a lasting career in healthcare.
